As we all navigate the global pandemic caused by the spread of COVID-19, we here at Califia Farms have been working hard to support the relief efforts as much as we can. Beyond staying home, wearing masks, supporting the health and safety of our workers at the plant to keep our product supply up, and supporting our café partners, we are excited to announce a new effort.
Califia Farms is pledging one million servings of our nourishing beverages to frontline healthcare workers and other communities in need through the pandemic.
The one million servings pledge is in addition to our existing donation program and will extend through December 2020. Califia has already provided nearly 350,000 servings of its plant-based beverages since March 9, 2020. Working together with Feed the Frontlines NYC (link: https://www.feedthefrontlinesnyc.org), Feeding America (link: https://www.feedingamerica.org), LA Regional Food Bank (link: https://www.lafoodbank.org), Meals on Wheels (Link: https://www.mealsonwheelsamerica.org), public school districts and other partners, we are working hard to provide nourishment and support to the national COVID-19 relief efforts.
“Califia Farms is privileged to be part of an industry that can help alleviate even a small amount of the stress created by this pandemic by providing great-tasting, nutritious products,” said Greg Steltenpohl, CEO and founder of Califia Farms. “By standing together as a community, we will emerge from this moment stronger and more resilient.”
We hope that you’ll join us in whatever capacity you can. And if you’re able, please consider joining us in giving to or getting involved with one of our partners working to provide nourishing meals to those who need it most:
Let’s plant the future, together.
