Cinnamon Apple French Toast Bake

1 1/4th cup Califia Farms Oatmilk Creamer
2 apples, cubed
4 cups cubed sourdough or white bread (something that will hold up and not get soggy, 2 days old bread works best)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons maple syrup
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed meal
3 tablespoon water
Top with: drizzle of maple syrup, almonds, sliced apples



Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Cut your bread and apples, set aside.

Make your flax egg by mixing ground flaxseed meal and water, set aside for 15 minutes until it gets thick.

In the bowl afterwards, add vanilla, maple syrup, nutmeg, cinnamon and your creamer. Mix well. Toss in your apples and bread.

Transfer to an oven safe baking dish/deep dish and bake for 40-60 minutes until your bread is crispy, soft and the apples are soft. Remove and top with maple syrup, almonds and sliced apples.
