The perfect breakfast for any day of the week, this recipe is a creamy, deliciously citrus take on overnight oats with wholesome, good-for-you ingredients. They're a great make-ahead breakfast option for the whole family.
1 cup whole rolled oats
2 tbsps chia seeds
Pinch of nutmeg
Pinch of salt¼ tsp orange extract
1 cup Califia Farms Unsweetened Almond Milk
½ cup agave nectar or honey
2 tbsps BetterHalf Coconut Cream and Almond Milk or Coconut Cream
1 navel orange, diced
1.In a large bowl, combine whole rolled oats, chia seeds, nutmeg, salt, orange extract, Califia Farms Almondmilk, Agave Nectar/Honey, Betterhalf Coconut Cream and Almondmilk, and diced oranges. Stir together and cover with a lid or plastic wrap.
2.Place in the refrigerator overnight, at least 8 hours.
3.When ready to eat, pair with nut butter, granola, additional oranges, yogurt — whatever you like!
