Toasted Vanilla Shaken Espresso

This Toasted Vanilla Shaken Espresso uses vanilla syrup plus our Oat Barista Blend, for extra creamy flavor.

Ingredients

3 shots espresso

1/4 cup Califia Farms Oat Barista Blend

Toasted vanilla syrup (see below)

 

For the toasted vanilla syrup:

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup water

1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste

Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake sugar for 30 minutes, stirring halfway through to prevent burning. Let cool.

Over medium low heat, combine the toasted sugar, water, and vanilla bean paste and simmer for 5 minutes.

Separately, brew 3 shots of espresso. In a shaker filled with ice, shake desired amount of toasted vanilla syrup and espresso, until frothy.

Pour into a glass and top with Oat Barista Blend and enjoy!
