Cinnamon Apple French Toast Bake

This Cinnamon Apple French Bake is an easy way to level up your Sunday brunch.

1 1/4 cup Califia Farms Oatmilk Creamer
2 apples, cubed
4 cups cubed sourdough or white bread (something that will hold up and not get soggy,
2 days old bread works best)
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons maple syrup
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed meal
3 tablespoon water

Top with: a drizzle of maple syrup, almonds, sliced apples

Preheat your oven to 350ºF.
Cut your bread and apples, set aside.
Make your flax egg by mixing ground flaxseed meal and water, set aside for 15 minutes until it gets thick.
Once thickened, add vanilla, maple syrup, nutmeg, cinnamon, and your creamer and mix well.
Toss in your apples and bread.
Transfer to an oven safe baking dish or deep dish and bake for 40-60 minutes until your bread is crispy, and the apples are soft.
Remove and top with maple syrup, almonds, and sliced apples.
