Iced Pistachio Matcha Latte

Pistachio is the moment, and we’re hopping on the trend with this Iced Pistachio Matcha Latte!

For the latte:

1-2 teaspoons matcha powder

2 tablespoons warm water

1 cup Califia Farms Almond Barista Blend

Pistachio syrup, to taste (recipe below!)


For the matcha cold foam:

1/2 teaspoon matcha powder

1/2 teaspoon sugar

2 tablespoons Califia Farms Heavy Whip

Green sprinkles, optional


For the pistachio syrup:

1/3 cup chopped pistachios

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup water

Pinch of vanilla bean paste

Make pistachio syrup and keep on hand. Heat all ingredients over medium low heat for 5 minutes, then remove from heat and let sit for 15 minutes to cool. Strain and store in a jar for future use
Pour ice into a glass, then pour in Califia Farms Almond Barista Blend. Separately, whisk matcha powder with warm water until fully dissolved. Layer matcha over the almond milk and add desired amount of pistachio syrup
Whisk together Heavy Whip, matcha powder, and sugar to create a matcha cold foam (optional, but encouraged!). Top latte with the cold foam, and add green sprinkles if desired. Enjoy!
