Apple Cobbler

Apple versus pumpkin, a tale as old as time. While we think both flavors are standouts on Thanksgiving tables, we highly suggest giving this delicious Apple Cobbler a try.

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 45 minutes
Servings: 2-3
Ingredients

For the filling:

4 apples, thinly sliced, peeled

1 tablespoon flour

2 tablespoons sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon lemon juice

For the cobbler topping:

1 cup flour

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ cup vegan butter, cubed

½ cup Califia Farms Extra Creamy Almondmilk

Salt to taste

Directions
01
Preheat oven to 375ºF. Peel, core and thinly slice the apples. Toss apples in a bowl with flour, sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.
02
In the meantime, make your cobbler topping. In a bowl, add in flour, sugar, baking powder, and soda. Mix until combined. Add in the cubed, cold vegan butter and use your hands to create a crumbly texture. When it's combined and crumbled, add in Califia Farms Extra Creamy Almondmilk. Mix well with a spatula until a thick batter forms and everything is combined.
03
Transfer the apple mixture to a baking dish, and then plop the cobbler topping on top of the apples.
04
Bake for 35-45 minutes. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes before handling, and serve.
